You are taking part in a clinical trial. How are you doing?
The Department of Clinical Research at the University of Basel has been commissioned by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) to conduct a countrywide survey of clinical trial participants.
What’s the survey for?
The survey is intended to find out how you are experiencing being a clinical trial participant. Its findings and conclusions will be used to reappraise the provisions and procedures adopted in human research and improve these where appropriate, in the interests of all such participants.
Why is it important that I take part?
By taking part in this survey, you can help give a voice to all the persons who participate in such clinical trials, and thereby help ensure that future trials of this kind better address and accommodate the needs of their participants.

- The survey is being conducted in the form of a questionnaire.
- The questionnaire consists of xx questions on your experiences of participating in the clinical trial in which you are involved and your motivation for doing so.
- You can complete the questionnaire either online or in paper form.
